Dieses 18-tägige Programm bietet eine Vielfalt an Workshops/Vorlesungen und Klassen aus dem Bereich, Tanztheater, Choreografie und Theater mit Berlin-ansässigen DozentInnen sowie KünstlerInnen aus den Staaten und aus England, wie zum Beispiel Rob Clare von der Royal Shakespeare Co., London, an. Einige der Klassen/Workshops sind ‚offene Klassen’ – für Profis, StudentInnen, Interessierte. Und da das Thema auf Austausch liegt, würden wir uns sehr über eine rege Teilnahme freuen.

Die Tanzabteilung konzentriert sich während dieser Zeit zum einen auf prof. Technik-Training – klassisches Ballett, Afrikanischer Tanz, Zeitgenössischer Tanz sowie Yoga gehören zum Programm; zum anderen liegt der Fokus auf ‚Praxis Choreografie’ zu welchem Thema es Vorlesungen sowie praktische Workshops geben wird. TeilnehmerInnen werden kleine choreografische Arbeiten erstellen, die dann am letzten Tag im Theater von DOCK 11 gezeigt werden.

Die Theaterabteilung konzentriert sich auf zeitgenössische Interpretationen von klassischem Text und zeitgemäßen Methoden, die mit den klassischem Schauspielertraining verbunden werden (z.B. Biomechanics, Labans’s Choreologie und der Text des Schauspielers, etc.).

The programme is open to dancers, performers and those interested. Admission is on a first come-first serve basis. A maximum of 10 people are allowed into each class/workshop. (Exception: stage combat workshop: max. of 6 extra students allowed). We charge a flat rate of 8,- € per class. Please arrive early enough so you can check in which studio we are. Note: All Workshops are in English!

Please note that classes on the audition days are only open to those auditioning!
