During this 18-day summer intensive programme a diversity of classes will be offered in Dance and Theatre Practice with local guest artists as well as teachers from the States and the UK, such as Rob Clare from the Royal Shakespeare Co. Most of the classes will be open for professionals and/or advanced students.

The Dance strand will focus on the one hand on professional training, including a variety of technique classes such as classical ballet, African dance and Contemporary. Secondly, it will strongly focus on Choreographic Practice with a range of lectures and practical workshops.

The theatre strand focuses on contemporary interpertations of classic text and the use of contemporary methodologies combined with classical actor training (e.g.: Biomechanics, Laban’s choreological system applied to the actor’s work, etc.).

The programme is open to dancers, performers and those interested. Admission is on a first come-first serve basis. A maximum of 10 people are allowed into each class/workshop. (Exception: stage combat workshop: max. of 6 extra students allowed). We charge a flat rate of 8,- € per class. Please arrive early enough so you can check in which studio we are. Note: All Workshops are in English!
